"I have attended many Differentiated Instruction seminars in the past. However, this is the one and only DI conference that actually showed me how to change the way I teach to be more effective and showed me how to differentiate effectively without going crazy in the process. I no longer feel overwhelmed and ineffective. Bonny gives the information and the tools needed during the seminar to be a successful differentiated instructor the minute you walk back into your classroom. I feel empowered!" Susan McMahon, Mansfield City Schools, transition teacher

"Bonny Buffington was fabulous! The teachers were really talking and involved with the strategies!" Pat Coon, curriculum director, Nortwest Local Schools, Cincinnati, OH

"The Doable Differentiation workshop was one of the most beneficial workshops I have ever attended. Bonny had a wealth of knowledge and experiences to share and made the workshop highly interactive and applicable to all teaching situations. Bonny facilitated the workshop like teachers should facilitate their classrooms, by incorporating multiple teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. I would highly recommend this workshop to any educator looking for ways to challenge students of all ability levels, backgrounds, and learning styles." Kristin Allerding, Mount Vernon Middle School, science teacher"

"Thank you for your very insightful presentation yesterday on Differentiated Instruction. You were a light in the darkness for many of my teachers that are feeling overwhelmed this year with the requirements and pressures placed upon us by the Ohio School Improvement Process. Your message was not only informing, but inspiring as well... Glad to know that you are well and able to work and share your amazing story as well as create motivation for teachers to reach all learners." Julie Spade, Principal, Riverdale Elementary School

"Thank you for your inspirational class on 'Doable Differentiating Instruction!!!' I have had other classes on differentiating instruction, but have walked away feeling overwhelmed and overworked. I cannot believe I took your class one week after summer break began, and felt like I couldn't wait to get back in the classroom!!! Your teaching of differentiated instruction was suddenly made so simple and relevant to learning! The cooperative learning ideas like cubing, jigsawing, gallery hops, etc. were ideas I had heard of before, but never realized the impact these techniques can have on student learning. I loved the brain based theory that you taught and the videos that you shared. I have already started planning my differentiated classroom for this next school year. I have been researching Carol Tomlinson's work through her website and have learned about "literacy circles" and other student directed learning. Thank you for refreshing my teaching spirit!!!" Brenda Reynolds, Centerburg Local Schools, grade 1 teacher

"I am a Title I reading/math teacher who has been in the Mt. Vernon City Schools system for over twenty years. I have an elementary education degree from MVNU and masters of curriculum and technology from Ashland University. I have taken many courses and workshops over the years in methods and techniques in teaching. This summer I took a three-hour graduate class from Bonny in Differentiating Instruction. Bonny was extremely knowledgeable in her subject matter. Best of all, she was practical in showing us examples of the methods she uses to implement her strategies. Bonny is a gifted, engaging, and competent instructor." Jeanine Davenport, Mount Vernon City Schools, Title I teacher

Spence Hedrick, Mount Vernon Nazarene Univeristy

I am happy to say that I have had the recent pleasure of attending Bonny Buffington’s one week seminar entitled “Doable Differentiation”. Bonny is an excellent leader and teacher, and I honestly did not want the week to end. Bonny is excited about teaching and learning and that excitement shows through in her seminars. Bonny provided daily opportunities for us to try out various styles and forms of differentiating instruction, letting us see just how powerful this type of instruction can be. As a new math teacher, I am excited to get started with the new school year so that I can begin implementing the many strategies learned during this seminar. Sally Rife, Fredericktown Middle School, 7th grade math teacher
